Panchakarma is an ancient Ayurvedic detoxification and rejuvenation therapy aimed at cleansing the body of toxins and restoring balance to the mind and body. The term "Panchakarma" translates to "five actions" or "five treatments," referring to the five primary procedures involved in this process. These treatments are designed to eliminate accumulated waste and toxins (ama) from the body through a series of therapeutic practices. Panchakarma helps in strengthening the immune system, boosting energy levels, and promoting longevity.
Ayurveda, the ancient science of life, views the body as a network of countless channels through which energy flows. These channels, akin to highways, can become blocked by physical and emotional toxins, leading to imbalances that manifest as various diseases.
Panchakarma offers a powerful solution to cleanse these channels. The therapy works by first loosening the toxins that clog the system and then systematically flushing them out. Once cleared, the body's systems function at their optimal levels—digestion improves, the mind becomes calm and clear, the immune system strengthens, and energy levels soar.
Our Panchakarma therapy spans a week(5 days), with daily sessions lasting 2 hours. Herbs are provided for the weekend to support continued detoxification.
Daily Routine:
Day one onwards : Begin with meditation. Abhyanga (Ayurvedic Oil Massage): Two therapists perform a synchronized massage for an hour. Shirodhara:A soothing stream of warm oil is poured over the forehead, promoting deep relaxation. Basti (Enema Therapy): Tailored herbal enemas are administered based on individual needs. Karna Poorana: Medicated oil is applied to the ears. Nasya: Herbal oils are used to cleanse the nasal passages. Swedana (Herbal Steam Therapy): Moist steam helps relax the muscles and body.
During Panchakarma process, Our licensed massage therapists offer a variety of therapeutic massages to help you relax and heal. We offer Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, and more.
Oil and cleansing enemas are provided with detailed instructions for at-home use. A nourishing diet of cleansing ghee and khichadi (a simple Ayurvedic dish) is recommended post-treatment. For out-of-town clients, we provide an electric rice cooker to prepare khichadi in their accommodations.
This process is repeated daily for five days, ensuring a thorough detoxification and rejuvenation.
